A childhood spark that turned into a lifetime mission.

At Smart Clean Energy, we don’t just promote clean energy — we live it. This journey didn’t begin in a boardroom or a business incubator. It began with an 11-year-old boy standing in a local street market, eyes wide with wonder, staring at dusty solar panels, two bulky batteries, and an old inverter that promised to power a dream.

From a young age, I was fascinated with electricity — not just how it worked, but how it could be made more accessible, efficient, and affordable. Growing up, I was that curious kid always trying to run appliances at home using the smallest amount of power. One summer afternoon in 2013, my life changed when I spotted that used solar kit. With excitement and a little saved-up cash, I bought it. It felt like I had just purchased freedom.

But reality hit hard. The inverter wasn’t compatible. It was designed to inject energy into the grid, not store it. Worse, it needed ten solar panels, not two. Disappointment crept in — but giving up wasn’t an option. I sold the batteries, added some money, and got more panels. Then, finally, the lights blinked on.

But joy was brief. The meter didn’t move in reverse. The inverter had a fault. The seller wouldn’t replace it.

Still, I kept going.

After more searching, I found another inverter — one so neglected it had been turned into a chair in someone’s workshop. I bought it for the price of scrap metal, cleaned it, installed it, and… the meter ran backwards.

That moment was electric. The feeling was bigger than Edison’s when he lit his first bulb. I had done it — clean, free, solar energy powering my home. But then came another lesson. One mistake in wiring, one sudden spark… and everything went dark again.

The dream dimmed but never died.

Weeks later, after a 300km trip and $350 investment, I found a reliable inverter. And this time, everything worked. That day, my home ran fully on smart, clean energy.

That’s when my real journey began.
I started studying deeply. I attended trainings, exhibitions, international conferences. I asked questions, took notes, tested, failed, succeeded — and repeated. What was once a personal goal became a mission: to help others discover the power of smart clean energy.
